I recently completed your raygun build. Thanks to you I was able to actually figure out what was wrong and fix it, thank you so much!
Reason I’m making this post is because I want to make a raygun mark 2 using the same source code and just switch the audio files. Is this even possible to do? I’ve never coded before or made my own wiring plans so I’m not sure if this is how it works. What I was thinking of doing was using the same basic hardware and software as the mk1 on the mk2. I’m a 3D modeler so making the mk2 will be easy for me. I had a plan to hide the switch and knob into the build easily.
If this isn’t the way it works would you be interested in helping me code a raygun mark 2? You wouldn’t need to print anything or even do any wiring. I just need someone who can make the code and tell me what to wire. I know this is a big question but I want to present it to johnyj25 over on YouTube. I worked with him back in July and I’m working with him on your mark 1 currently. I’d also be giving you the mark 2’s model I make to put on your site if you want to.
I don’t know how interested you will be in this but if you don’t want to it’s ok. I plan to learn to code and program myself soon. I just want to get this project rolling fast if possible because Im close to johnyj25 for 6 months then we’re far apart and things are harder. I don’t think I’ll be able to learn to code like you in only 6 months. Your work is seriously impressive.
I appreciate the service you’ve already done for this community, you are the reason I’m learning all this new stuff. I look up to you and your work as inspiration. Hope to hear back one way or the other, either way I appreciate all you do!
