    hand cannon with shell ejection assembly issues

    so trying to follow the assembly video to a T , but i seam to not be able to get the trigger mechanism (trigger ramp, trigger hook, launcher ) to engage properly , any ideas ?

    It sounds to me like the hook is too loose. Try scaling the hook up, so it's wider and rubs against the trigger. If the hook isn't being pushed up far enough after you scale up the hook, try moving the ramp closer to the trigger.

    This is a very tricky part of the mechanism because the hook needs to be loose enough to be pushed up by the ramp, but not so loose that it falls when you pull the trigger. And if it's too stiff, it won't allow the slide to blowback. I'm not sure what problem you have, but try printing the hook at different widths/thicknesses until you find one that has the right tolerance.

    thank you for the advice and quick response, as to the specifics of it ,im noticing that the front face that makes contact with the trigger ramp isnt really making much contact at all maybe lifting the hook about 2 mm also is the hook supposed to roll once released from the launcher ? it seams to flip over fully once it dose
