    Wunderwaffe BOM

    in Support

Hi, I was looking around for sales as it was Black Friday and happened to remember about the wunderwaffe project. I checked some of the parts on Amazon (can't access the home depot list either) and saw some weren't in stock anymore, so would you be willing to update it with ones that are in stock? This will probably be my first project and I don't know much about the difference between each brand so I wanted to make sure the parts would work. Thanks!

I just updated the WW-Documents folder to v4. It has a BOM with a new link to Home Depot. Let me know if it works.

Can you tell me specifically what is out of stock so I can update the Amazon list?

Should I get the tube cut into 3ft or 6ft because there is an oversize charge? Thanks!

The piece you'll need for the WW is less than 1ft, so you can definitely get it cut into 3ft sections.

@Andrew I contacted the laser cutting service listed in the WW BOM a few days ago and the mounting panels appear to be larger than they should be. Could you specify the dimensions of all the panels? Also, can the wood be thinner/thicker than 1/4" wood as most services seem to only have ones thinner or a bit thicker. And finally, is it alright if I use the old DXF files from the original STL files instead of the SVG one? Thanks.

Hi, the Home Depot list link works now. The items I couldn't find were the 8 AWG wire and the 72" acrylic tube (I am willing to buy it from somewhere else than Amazon). I was able to find a replacement for the 30 AWG wire (7 colors instead of 5) and a different vendor for the rub-n-buff you may want to update (shortened URL shorturl.at/ftvMW) Also, what kind of 3d printer filament do you suggest to use for this (looking at getting a Voxelab Aquila x2)? Thanks for taking the time to update the links.

The 8 AWG wire and Rub n Buff have been added to the Amazon list. Here's an acrylic tube option with shipping that's not ridiculous.
