Hi. I know you have had this question a few times now and it is probably getting a bit excessive/annoying, but I still need help picking out the filament (I am a beginner at almost all of the stuff like 3d printing but know a bit about soldering/electronics). I decided on buying it all from Fillamentum PLA, but I am unsure what colors to get for the project. I know it needs transparent filament so I am probably going to get the crystal clear, but since the majority of the parts are painted, should I stick with the transparent filament to paint over or get another spool of white or gray to paint over? Also, for the metallic colors like gold happens and rapunzel silver, how many samples should I get for the wunderwaffe (I don't want to have a lot excess but don't want to run out if I need more than I thought as shipping is like $25 alone)? Unrelated to Filament, what is the best tool in your opinion to cut the acrylic tube and steel? Would a hacksaw work well for cutting? If possible, could you list the tools you used for the entire project (excluding 3d printer & soldering iron)? The glue you refer to in the assembly drawings, it is hot glue, correct? (very paranoid right now because I don't want to mess things up) I will probably be using an Aquila X2 as well. I apologize for the excessive amount of questions that may have obvious answers but want to get advice from you directly. Just trying to learn new skills through this project (and the prop). Thanks for taking the time to read this (you can answer in the way that is the quickest for you).

To keep things simple, I'm just going to dump a bunch of links for you. Let me know if you have more specific questions. Transparent PLA: https://amzn.to/3rDSDTm
Best Budget PLA: https://amzn.to/3027vQa (Just as strong/printable as Fillamentum)

How to Cut Acrylic: https://www.wikihow.com/Cut-Acrylic-Tubing (I used a hacksaw)
Get 1 spool of transparent 1 spool of silver. Print all but the "glass" pieces in silver and paint them with the metallic paints and spray paints listed in the Bill of Materials document. For best results, sand the print lines smooth with at least 220 grit sand paper. Then apply paint in thin, even coats. Use gorilla super glue whenever glue is mentioned in the WW documents. If you're gluing a large flat surface between two parts, use the liquid. For smaller connections, use the gel.
Also, I have my own Voxelab Aquila (the original) and I found this YouTube channel very helpful. He has a series of videos on the Aquila and the problems you will inevitably face when owning it. That being said, it is capable of some very good print quality and accuracy. Link: https://www.youtube.com/c/3DPrintSOS
